Called and had same day inspection to locate water leak. Dylan was able to confirm the water leak was from the water heater and scheduled for it to be repaired next day. Ryan completed the repair and was phenomenal. Walked me through everything he completed and went above and beyond to make sure everything looked and worked good. Ryan also did all new piping and fittings and made it easy to be able to disconnect in the future if any work needed to be done on water heater. Highly recommend the company and highly recommend asking for Ryan or Dylan regarding the actual repair as both went above and beyond. Close

For the old water heater out and new one installed and working in just a couple of hours. I’d rate the water heater tech a 5. I’d rate the salesmanship on the new water heater less highly - buyer’s remorse. A bit like a used car salesman tactic to steer you where they get the most profit. In retrospect, feels like the essency water heater was a good option, but probably could have bought one and hired another plumber to put it on for a lot less. Was even more disappointed when, after it was installed and I inquired on the process to drain it annually I was told that I’d need to call Hiller to come out and service it or contract for maintenance. Very annoying to have the cost identified after-the-fact. So they’re mostly nice and competent, but feel over-priced at times and push their maintenance plan. Close

Old one out, new one in by 12:15! Super service! And…2 years ago I had a complete inspection by…another company…and they said it was just a matter of time before the hot water heater gave out and their price then was over $800 what everything cost today. First experience with Hiller and Brien represented well. He was called out to a wish list of wants and needs and did a great job explaining the pros and cons of one response or another. He had multiple opportunities to upcharge or otherwise simply proceed with our requests without educating us. Instead, he chose to explain our options to us and provide honest, customer-focused service. Brien took good care of us and, truthfully, was a pleasant guest to have in our home, even if it was business that brought him in. Great job, solid first impression! Close

Had Hiller out to look at a possible hose bib leak since the brick around my spigot was getting wet from behind and had some green mossy areas. The techs that first came out searched the crawl space and didn’t find any evidence of a hose bib leak or water in the crawl space, so they recommended not using the hose bib for a couple weeks to see if the brick would dry out, and then use it again to see if the brick got wet again which would show for sure it was the hose bib with the issue before paying to replace it. I appreciated the wait and see approach vs them pushing me to replace it on the first visit. All three techs that worked on the issue, Ryan, Bobby and Daniel, were great. Professional, personable, arrived in the time window, clearly explained things and showed me what they were doing in the repair. We did end up having them replace the hose bib since the brick wall did get wet again upon turning it on and found the builder had installed the hose bib poorly and it had a huge hole in the brick and was maybe moving around, and the metal part of the bib was dented and scratched (likely a pinhole leak) from the builder likely jamming it in there to install in. Hiller put in a new hose bib and better secured it in the huge hole the builder left in the brick. Would definitely recommend Hiller for your plumbing needs. Close

This convenience relieved so much stress and I was assigned a very knowledgeable, friendly electrician, John Ryder. John answered all my questions and gave me some insight on some of the complexities that come with older built homes like mine. He communicated clearly and had a strong understanding of electricity all while being safety minded with divided attention (multi tasking) during the installation process. The tech recommended we consult to replace the unit. We decided to go ahead and install all new systems. Just a few days later the install began. We were told it would be 3 days and that’s exactly what it took. The first day was the toughest for the crew. Our lead man was Jon Ward and he was fantastic! Jon and his assistant stayed late to make sure our main level was up and working so my family could enjoy a cool night sleep. Got to love a company that not only does exceptional work with great team members but equally impressive was the communication from all involved. Got a few quotes for budgetary purposes a year a ago from different companies in the area. Hiller was very competitive. Flash forward a year, and our existing hot water heater broke. Called Hiller who came out the same day to see if it was repairable. Turned out it was the original unit (nearly 20 years old) and was beyond repair. I requested that rather than just replace the unit, they update their quote which included a crawl space dehumidifier, tankless water heater, water softener and water filter. Hiller recognized that we needed a quick turnaround on the quote since our water heater was broken. Brian, their project manager, came out after hours with a technician and was able to update the quote on the spot. The next day they showed up with multiple crews and were able to finish the entire scope of work. Each employee was polite and answered all of my many questions. If their is any scope of work needed at our house in the future that Hiller can perform, we will not waste time in seeking out any other quotes. Top tier operation at every level. Close
