I've had experience with the company for over 5 years with excellent 5-star service each and every time. Recently, I've run into septic issues, resulting in a replacement in a line. The quoted price was accurate and fair in addition to the service itself being great with no issues. However, post completion, multiple chunks of waste from the old broken pipe (presumably grease and toilet paper) were scattered in portions of my lawn resulting in both my dogs ingesting it followed by vomiting it out within multiple areas. Edit: Bringing it to 5-star, up from the initial review. Hiller reached out to me, and the situation has been remedied. Close

I appreciated that so much because, as a regular person who isn't a skilled plumber, I had no idea what to expect and I started out very anxious. His demeanor and great communication skills immediately eased my anxiety. I wasn’t at home but was able to give him access to the house so he could figure out the issue. I really appreciate him keeping me informed of all the issues and future issues that may occur with an older unit. We had multiple quotes from different companies, but Corey was able to match the competitors price while providing a superior unit (20 SEER vs 18 SEER) and Hiller was able to install the unit the next day. Nick came out to install the unit and did a great job. We had some issues with our Nest thermostats and the Bosch compatibility and Hiller replaced both thermostats with new Ecobees at no additional charge! They also stayed late due to rolling power outages. Great service and would recommend Hiller to family and friends. Close

The only reason I took off one star was because of the cost. Needless to say, I had sticker shock when I got the price. For a $200 valve, I thought the total would be a lot less than $900 given a 2 hour repair. The only justification for the high cost was that I got a 2 year warranty. Keep in mind that my first valve went 19 years even if it was a contractor cheapo. Close

We ended up needing a new system and they were able to get someone out that night to go over all the options. Very low pressure which I really appreciated. They were even able to get us installed the next day, which was perfect. The install team was awesome and left things looking better than before they arrived. Almost twice what I paid for the same repair from another plumber (Madison Plumbing). Definitely would not use them again due to the high price. Revised: Hiller refunded a $150 to match prices I had paid for similar repairs in the past. Overall excellent service, however I still believe they are higher priced that some other options. The team for both projects were super professional and I appreciate their hard work in this Alabama humidity. The team lead , mr Ford, provided honesty and great customer service. Thank you. However, I’m sitting here waiting on someone from the company to inform me of when the inspector will come to my house. It would have been nice if someone would contact me and say the inspector is running behind or a to schedule a time/date. They were able to come the same evening we called, and though they couldn’t fix our issue that night they were able to turn the water back on and Tommy returned the next day to replace the pipe. Update 1/14/2020 They found my water pressure regulator had gone bad and water pressure was over 100 psi. They installed a new pressure regulator for a fair price. Update 4/29/2021. I gave them a 2nd chance and I'm glad I did. I noticed water in my crawl space so I called Hiller. Chance Draper came out and within a few minutes identified the problem, my water heater was leaking and needed to be replaced. Chance replaced the water heater and now the leak is solved. The only thing I can think of I would change is they should ask if I have a preference on the water heater I would like to have installed (They didn’t ask, they just installed the brand they always do I guess) I would have wanted the smart water heater that is Alexa enabled, it would notify me via my phone if there was a water leak. Other than that they are perfect. After waiting 15 minutes for someone to answer the phone I gave up. Close
