Hiller is my go to for All AC service!! Well, it is almost November, yet still in the 80s. You'd know I'd have an AC issue. Quick search for good reviews, and I found Hiller. Called, and within an hour, 2 techs showed up. Earlier in year, I was bamboozled by Best Care Services. They came out with the sole purpose of selling me a new unit. I HAVE photos of their dishonesty. TODAY, 10/29/2024 Hagan and Randal with Hiller found a problem and fixed THAT issue. These guys were professional and knew it was soon to be winter try no hard sell. My AC is in great condition yet I needed an electrical part. Thanks to my 2 HONEST techs, I got the HONEST repair I needed. The most impressive thing was when they left my blood pressure was normal, oh and I learned the Happy Hiller Song! Close

I had two services provided by Hiller P/H/C/E on July 8 (electrician, Jeremy) and July 11 (AC, Hagan & Matthew). All of the Technicians were excellent, courteous, and professional. They knew what they were doing. It took them a bit longer than I expected to service/clean the PTAC units, but understandable with circumstances and location. Neither was able to offer same day service, however, Hiller called as soon as they had a cancellation and dispatched technician Zach King to the house, where he quickly diagnosed and repaired the issue. So, I not only got same-day service, but a 2-year P&L warranty! And a cool living room on a 90-degree day! I am a Happy Hiller Club member for a reason. Close

We looked for someone local, with good ratings who had same day availability and Hiller fit the bill. They had Corey ant our house in under 1.5hrs. The communication for an appointment is great - they txt you updates and even a picture of who to expect, with a tracking app so you can see how far away they are. When Corey arrived he was able to assess and diagnose the problem quickly. He provided us with an estimate for services on the spot, pictures and videos of the problem and helped us prepare our house so we could spend the night there safely. Ultimately we will go with work through our warranty coverage because it is cheaper, so I can’t speak to the quality of the work, but the immediate attention to our problem, clear communication and knowledge of the technician were definitely 5-star. A couple years ago we purchased the service contract with Hiller where they would come out ever so often and service my HVAC systems. Not long after we purchased it, a technician came out and serviced everything. Said we were good to go and that the capacitor on my AC unit was eventually going to go out but it was still good to go. That night we noticed we lost all cold air. Luckily, it was almost fall and it was not too hot so we were fine. I did find it ironic that they serviced it and a few hours it went out. I chalked it up to bad luck and I knew that part was not too expensive. Fast forward to 4/23/24. Technician came out. Cleaned the AC and serviced everything like usual. I saw him leaving as I was just coming home from work (my wife was present for the service). He apologized for taking my driveway as I was coming home. I told him no big deal we just caught each other at the right time. Well, that night my wife had noticed that the thermostats were set for 65 degrees by the technician who did not change them back! Its April, and we had it set for 72 because it was not that warm outside. Even though the thermostat said 65, it was not getting cooler than 69 in the home. I said to turn it off and lets just reset it for 72 like we have it and the tech must have forgot to bring it back to what we had it on. When we did that, our whole house smelled like it was on fire. This caused us to panic, so we rushed to turn it off. I went outside and noticed that there was a thick cover of ice on a pipe coming from the unit. It burnt up the motor in my unit. They claimed well, this would have happened eventually and that I needed a new motor. They would discount the part that was $1000 to $700. I find it completely dishonest that something like this would happen twice literally right after a technician had "serviced" our system. I will be cancelling my service contract with Hiller because this seems to be dishonest. Do not tell me everything is "good to go" and literally a few hours my house smells like its on fire while my 3 children are asleep. I am glad I was home or who knows what could have happened. In the end, I feel like this would have been avoided had the technician taken the thermostat back out of 65 degrees and brought it back to 72 in the month of April when it was not hot to begin with. No wonder it froze up. Update: Someone from customer service reached out within 30 mins of this review. They spoke to my wife and said that since it was not noted on the initial service yesterday that they would compensate for the entire repair. I was not expecting a complete free part and in fact, I would have negotiated to come to an agreement on me paying something due to the serviceman doing labor. However, they refunded me everything. I am astonished and at a loss for words at the customer service. They did not tell me to change my review in order to receive the refund. They said they would do this no matter my choice. Therefore, based off the customer service I have received. I am going to change my review to 5 stars and keep my contract of service with Hiller. If they are going to be this thorough to correct things, even when they did not have to, then I am going to be a loyal customer. Thank you again, Hiller. Close

I called Hiller after my AC stopped working for an emergency service call over the weekend. The customer service rep was so pleasant to work with and scheduled me for their next available appointment. I knew going into the repair that it was likely my system would need to be replaced as it was well past it's life span, so I asked if instead of just quoting repairs if Hiller would also quote replacing the system as well. They came out the next day, providing the quotes, and I went forward with replacing the system, which happened the next day. Unfortunately, the technicians ran into some issues with the install, so it ended up taking two additional days, but they made sure to bring portable AC units to help keep the house comfortable while they continued the work. And in the end, despite the extra labor and parts needed to complete the job, I was only invoiced exactly the estimated cost I agreed to. Overall, I am incredibly happy with the service Hiller provided, and will use them again for maintenance in the future. Close

On Monday at the time of our appointment, we met Dwight Smith their technician. I will start by saying this, Dwight Smith has 30 years experience and without question is a 5 Star technician. He is truly a professional. He repaired our toilet and resolved our issue from previous work performed by another plumber. While he was here we asked about the repair of a leaky faucet on a whirlpool garden tub. This is not a ordinary type faucet repair and once again, Dwight put his experience and knowledge to work. His work was once again super. Dwight was on time for both work orders, conducted himself in a professional manner at all times while providing 5 STAR service. He found a capacitor not functioning at full capacity. He explained the reason it should be replaced (sooner rather than later).
