Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical (Hiller), Tennessee’s largest residential and commercial service and repair provider, is proud to announce the opening of the Hiller Music Porch at the Ryman Auditorium. This exciting new entertainment space is part of a five-year partnership between Hiller and Opry Entertainment Group.

The Hiller Music Porch officially opened for the Ryman’s Community Day, a free-to-the-public auditorium tour and live music experience held annually on Memorial Day. During CMA Fest earlier this month, the Hiller Music Porch offered a shady rest area for fans to enjoy musical acts at the BMI Block Party on the Ryman Plaza. Beginning this week, the area will be utilized for Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman, a Tuesday-evening concert series with six of the biggest acts in bluegrass. In addition, the Hiller Music Porch will be open for pre-show festivities for more than 200 scheduled concerts and events each year.
“We have enjoyed working with Hiller over the years as an active participant in our Ryman Community Day and Salute the Troops events. We are so excited to welcome Hiller as a more permanent partner to bring the new Hiller Music Porch to life,” remarked Sean Lupton, Vice President of Sales and Brand Partnerships at Opry Entertainment Group. “Developing exciting experiences at the Ryman for both concert goers and the community at large is so important to us. Long-term partnerships with organizations like this are one of the ways that we enhance that experience.”
Like the Ryman, Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, and Electrical has been a part of the Nashville community for many decades. In 1990, 24-year-old, Nashville-Native Jimmy Hiller launched the business with just $500. In the years that followed, Hiller has grown exponentially, now employing more than 850 team members across 17 locations. Although the organization has expanded across the southeast, its commitment to the Nashville area and the organizations that have shaped it remain steadfast.
“As a company founded in Nashville, it is an honor to partner with the iconic Ryman Auditorium in such a substantial way,” remarked Jimmy Hiller, Founder and Chief Executive Officer. “At Hiller, we want to be active participants and supporters of the communities we serve. This means uplifting the organizations and historic entities that have helped shape Nashville’s unique and special culture”, he continued. “We could not be more excited to partner with the Ryman to bring this exciting new experience to life for our friends and neighbors.”
Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical, provides residential and commercial service and repair throughout Tennessee, Southern Kentucky, Northeastern Mississippi, Southeastern Arkansas, Northern Alabama, Northern Georgia, and Northwest Florida. As the homeowner’s premier provider of choice with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, Hiller is Tennessee’s largest residential and commercial plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and electrical services provider. Hiller, a 12-time honoree to the Inc. 5000 List, employs more than 850 associates, boasts a fleet of 620 “Happy Face” trucks across 17 locations, and has responded to over 1.7 million service calls in 7 states. A National Historic Landmark, Ryman Auditorium was built by Captain Thomas G. Ryman in 1892 as the Union Gospel Tabernacle. A 15-time winner of the prestigious Pollstar “Theater of the Year” award, the historic venue is well-known as the Mother Church of Country Music and is the most famous former home of the Grand Ole Opry (1943-1974). The Ryman’s thriving concert schedule hosts more than 200 shows per year, and the venue is open for daytime tours year-round. The Ryman has also been featured in numerous film and television projects, including Coal Miner’s Daughter, the Johnny Cash Show, American Idol, Nashville, and more. Ryman Auditorium is owned by Ryman Hospitality Properties, Inc. (NYSE: RHP), a Nashville-based REIT that also owns and operates the Grand Ole Opry, WSM Radio, and more.
