If anyone in Panama City/Lynn Haven is having AC issues I 10000% reccomend Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical.
The capacitor was out and I had the ability to fix it myself (you should have seen me out there with a multimeter and discharge tools getting it done, Alexa play The Man by Taylor Swift 😤) but upon my trip to Lowe’s, hardware stores are no longer allowed to sell capacitors to people without a license to work on HVAC units 🤪 so I was forced to call around. Peaden wanted a $249 after hours fee + $300 for the capacitor. Insane. I called a few others with similar fees and Hiller was last and told me they didn’t have an after hours fee! Standard $69 for the estimate that was waived once I signed off on the repair and was $269 out the door. Not $269 I wanted to spend of course, but was so thankful for companies that don’t charge crazy fees just because someone’s AC doesn’t work on a Saturday!
